Brides-to-be should think simple when shopping for their wedding dress. Big and sparkly may have been what was in a couple of decades ago, but that is not the case now. I was looking at wedding dresses online when I came across an article about wedding dresses. The article states that classic wedding dresses are the trend.
The look these days is "a little more classic. Simplicity and ease are very popular -- dresses that look easy to wear and not stiff and formal," says Millie Martini Bratten, editor in chief of Brides magazine.
Being a big princess fan that I am, I've always dreamed about my Cinderella dress. All the sparkles and glow are great but the price is not. A bride can still have the wedding dress she's always wanted and the price can still be in a reasonable range. Brides in this decade have spent less on their wedding dress than in previous years. This of course saves a couple of dollars if not hundreds. So brides, find a wedding dress that fits you best and the price you prefer. Big is good, but as the article says "less detail and fabric is better."

Cheaper ways to have a Wedding

I found this article and I think it's very informative. Considering the economy and I am a bride to be, saving money is critical. I was looking through magazines at centerpieces, flowers, invitations, etc. and I realized a putting on a wedding costs a couple of hundreds of dollars. I came across this article and I thought it might me useful to other individuals that are getting married.

If you're a bride- or groom-to-be, those numbers can seem especially scary in a recession. According to a survey in March by wedding Web site TheKnot.com,40 percent of brides said they have trimmed their wedding budgets, by an average of 16 percent.
